Audio
From 7.1 channel surround sound to music in every room of your home - Personal Nerd has a great selection of audio components, distribution systems, and speakers.  Enjoy great sound without the confusion because you've got a Personal Nerd.

Denon AVR-3808CI Receiver
While it is not the biggest or the baddest - we think the new Denon AVR-3808 is a great surround sound receiver.  It has a lot of the features of higher-end components at a reasonable price.  Seven channels at 130 watts, HDMI 1080p up-conversion, outstanding digital-to-analog converters, and a microphone port so us Nerds can do a room equalization just like on the more expensive systems.

Parasound
Their products all adhere to a stringent philosophy: make them sound better than components selling at far higher prices. They provide equipment at the cutting edge of deign and function for audiophile music systems or multi-channel home theaters. Home of the legendary JC1, John Curl designed mono-block amplifier powerhouse, their stuff rocks -- literally.
Bob Carver's Sunfire
I remember in college I gave up eating to buy a Carver amp - it was awesome until I got really hungry.  New at Personal Nerd is the entire Sunfire line-up from Bob Carver.  Choose from a surround sound receiver or go for the separate pre-amp paired with a 5 or 7 channel amplifier for a mind-blowing system.  Sunfire's line of sub-woofers are famous for a lot of sound from a little box - they are amazing for being roughly a cubic foot in size.
Triad Speakers
For speakers you can't necessarily see, but can certainly hear and feel, Triad provides some of the highest-end in-wall and in-ceiling solutions. They even custom match the frames and grills to whatever paint, wall paper, or wood type you have. The sound quality is NOT a compromise between form and function, as these speakers sound as good if not better as most in-room alternatives.
Atlantic Technology Speakers
A company dedicated to the home theater experience, Atlantic Tech sells nothing but speakers designed with movie watching in mind. With 60% of the average movie's audio coming from the center channel, with an AT8200 center speaker (pictured) you'll never catch yourself saying, Huh? What did she say?"  And with a 642SB subwoofer and dual pedestal woofers (also pictured) you'll also never catch yourself wondering if the helicopter just exploded either.

PMC Speakers
Your system will only sound as good as your speakers. PMC speakers are renowned for quality and innovation. Pictured here is a pair of the OB1i tri-ampable floor standing speakers. The little brothers of speakers used in most of the world's premiere music and film sound recording studios, broadcast companies, post-production, and audio mastering facilities. They look great and sound even better!

Tannoy Speakers
Tannoy makes speakers to fit all kinds of budgets.  Smooth British sound and really good looks.  Pictured here is the Sensys DC-2 floor standing speaker.  They sound awesome - why because of 7" Dual-Concentric drivers and SuperTweeters - 'nuff said.  Let me put it this way - for not a lot of money, the band sounds like it is in the house.  Available in maple, rosewood, and black.  There's also a matching center speaker and surrounds for creating a theater system.

Sonos Digital Music System
Sonos is the first wireless, multi-room digital music system that lets you play all your favorite music all over your house—and control it all from the palm of your hand. With a wireless Sonos Controller in hand, you can find and play millions of songs—from select online music and radio services, your personal digital music collection, or all of the above. And, with Sonos ZonePlayers in the rooms of your choice, you can play the same song in different rooms, or different songs in different rooms. To start listening, just grab the full-color Controller and simply pick a room, pick a song and hit play.

 Video
Whether you're looking for a really small flat-screen TV or a really, really big picture from a state-of-the-art projector - you'll want to check out Personal Nerd.  DLP, LCD, Plasma, LCOS, Rear Projection, Front Projection, Direct-view - is your head spinning yet?  Relax... Personal Nerd has got it covered and will help you select the best solution at the best price.

Sharp LC-57D94U
This is an absolutely gorgeous TV - that's also a 1920x1080 computer monitor.  Regular TV, HDTV, DVD's, Videogames, and your PC will look awesome on this state-of-the-art widescreen Sharp LCD.  It uses the latest generation of LCD glass made at the new Sharp plant and features DVI and HDMI digital inputs.  And with LCD there's no worries about picture burn-in.  57" to much? This TV is also available from 52" to 32" versions - wow!

Samsung HL-T7288W
The same image quality in an LCD with larger sizes (this one is 6 feet across!) and smaller price tags. At only a little over 20" deep and 130lbs, it still fits nicely on shelves designed for much smaller TVs. It's got 3 HDMI and 9 analog inputs allowing you to connect pretty much anything including PCs, camcorders, and PlayStation 3s. 1080p was meant to be viewed on something this large.

Samsung BD-UP5000 Blu-ray Player
Make the most of your HDTV with Samsung's BD-UP5000. It can play both Blu-ray and DVD discs, so you won't need two seperate players to enjoy all the movies available (even HD-DVD.) This powerful player does a fantastic job with older formats too, up-coverting them to 1080p. It uses a Silicon Optix HQV video processor - based of the same processor currently used in Hollywood post-production - to deliver a stunning, intricately detailed picture at a film-faithful rate of 24 frames per second.

InFocus IN83
There is nothing, I mean nothing, that can recreate a theater experience in your home like a front projector and screen.  And the new IN83 with a 1920X1080 resolution using DarkChip4 is one of the best projectors out there.  It's bright enough to create a really big picture - how about a 140" diagonal wide screen on the wall (it'll go bigger - or smaller).  Movies and TV will never be the same.  Wait until you surf the web on your PC using this as your monitor - you'll feel like your running NATO command.  Personal Nerd can assist with a site survey of your home and full installation of the projector or an entire theater room.

Stewart Filmscreen
Stewart screens are designed to meet the most rigorous optical and installation requirements, excelling at custom designs to match the unusual projects and most technical specifications. A family owned business since 1947, their screens have won more awards than the majority of the competition combined. When projector companies show off their line of projectors, it's usually done on a Stewart screen,

 Misc. Gear
We sell more than just audio/video gear and computers. You may need a place to put that gear, light the way to it, or sit down while enjoying it. Ya, we've got that too.

Middle Atlantic Racks
There are probably 50 cables connecting your audio and video components to each other and your screen. Most require power, some even have battery backups. IR flashers, 12V triggers, and video sensors just add to the mix. To get the most out of your technology while getting to see just the blinking lights and fancy feedback requires a quality rack. These solid steel racks from Middle Atlantic have custom faceplates for all your components and present a unified front to the organized chaos behind.
Lutron Lighting Controls
A survey of homeowners living with newer technology yielded some surprising results. When asked what feature of their house would they be least likely to give up, it wasn't the audio in every room or ovens set to pre-heat via cell phone. It was the scene-based lighting controls they had gotten most attached to. With the ability to configure into new installations or retrofit into old, the remote-controlled lighting systems by Lutron are simple to use and affordable.
Berkline Home Theater Seating
I believe it's the drink-holder that does it for us. Yes these chairs recline at the push of a button, are made of 100% luxurious leather, and come in more colors than a crayola box, but it's got a place to put your frosty beverage, it really doesn't get much better than that.

Custom Computers
Personal Nerd has the latest PC's designed with Intel Dual or Quad-core processors and the best selection of components.  All models now come standard with 2GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive, and the latest dual-layer DVD burner. You'll also get integrated 5.1 digital audio, awesome 3D graphics, networking, USB 2.0, and FireWire - even the latest serial ATA interface for the next generation of hard drives.  We only use aluminum cases and top-notch power supplies. A Personal Nerd PC is designed to be fast and built to last - you would expect no less from a Nerd.
